Before You Leave Home
Before heading to the airport, ensure you have:
✅ Passport with at least six months' validity
✅ Drukair e-ticket or booking confirmation
✅ Bhutan visa approval letter (where applicable)
✅ Any required visas for transit or onward travel
✅ Travel insurance (recommended)
If you booked your Bhutan tour through Druk Asia, your visa approval and travel arrangements will normally have been completed before departure.
Check-in Information
Drukair recommends arriving at the airport at least three hours before departure.
For most international flights:
- Check-in opens approximately 3 hours before departure
- Check-in closes 1 hour before departure
- Boarding gates usually close 20–30 minutes before departure
Late passengers may not be accepted after check-in has closed.
